What you’ll see on a stream

The same routine I run with my small group every morning, with the screen shared. I trade from Alaska, so the opening bell is 5:30 in the morning here, and the stream starts with the plan, not with a trade.

• The pre-market plan. The levels for the day: VWAP and its bands, the Initial Balance once it forms, yesterday’s value area, the weekly levels. Each one graded A, B, or C before anything happens.
• The classification. Balanced or discovery, called out loud once the first hour has voted, and what that does to the setups that are live.
• Resting orders. Where the limits are sitting and why. Most of them never fill. When a Madonna takes one, you’ll see it happen and you’ll see what I do next.
• The confirmation tools. Bookmap, TickStrike, and Financial Juice on screen, used the way Scott’s List describes them: they can veto a trade, they never create one.
• The misses. Stops, skipped setups, and the trades I shouldn’t have taken, graded in the journal before the stream ends.

What a stream is not

It’s not a signal service and it’s not a trade room. I don’t call entries for anyone, and copying a resting order you saw on a stream, without the plan that put it there, is the fastest way I know to lose money. Watch it the way you’d watch film of a game: for the decisions, not the score.
