What is the VWAP Wave System?
A discretionary day-trading framework for futures created by Chris Drysdale. It reads the market as an auction moving between balance and imbalance, uses VWAP as the value reference and standard-deviation bands to measure extension, and trades four core setups, each matched to a specific market condition.
Who is Chris Drysdale?
A full-time futures trader, educator, and the author of VWAP Wave System: Day Trade the Futures Market with Structure, Context, and a Discretionary Edge. He runs Drysdale Trading Group, a live education community, and the three-month Inner Circle mentorship I graduated from.
What are the four core setups?
Price Discovery Continuation, Fade Value Area Extremes, Return to Value, and the VWAP Bounce. Two work in trends, two work in balance. The skill is not the setup; it’s knowing which condition you’re in. Lesson 3 covers all four.
Is this Chris’s site?

Do I need the toolkit or the Discord to use the system?
No. VWAP and deviation bands are on every platform, and the book stands on its own. The toolkit saves setup time and adds the dashboard; the community is where you watch the system applied live. Start with the free guide and decide from there.
Is this a signal service?
No, and neither is Drysdale Trading Group. Nobody here calls trades for you. The whole point of the system is that you learn to classify the session and pick the setup yourself. If you want alerts, this is the wrong place.
