Globex session · Sunday, September 13, 2026

Net +$2,343.20 on 8 trades, 6 wins and 2 losses, profit factor 3.93. My best profit factor in the sessions I’ve logged. Winners were bigger than losers for the first time since August 30, and both losses were cut before they mattered.

What the execution data shows

  • The first two trades were near-perfect. #1 (VWAP Scalp, ES) captured 86% of its available move on 1.25 points of heat. #2 (PDC Cont, NQ) took 23.75 of a 24.5-point move, a 97% capture on 1.5 points of heat. That’s a $943.80 trade with almost no drawdown. I graded them B and C; the execution on #2 was A-quality whatever the setup grade said.
  • #4 was the only real mistake, and I handled it correctly. A 2-lot NQ long that was never green, took 16 points of heat, and was out in 30 seconds at −15. That’s a loser recognised and cut, not a loser held. Compare September 8, where the equivalent trade ran 44 points and 29 minutes.
  • #5 (RTV) was right on direction but gave nearly all of it back. The short was 11.25 points in the money at its best and closed at +0.75, a 7% capture, over a 22-minute hold. It’s the one winner on the sheet that reads like a scratch.
  • #8 (PDC, 8-lot ES) was the day. Held 60 minutes, took only 1.25 points of heat, and closed at +3.38 of a 4.88-point move (69%). My note at the time says “Waiting for the rotation up,” and the sizing matched the patience. This is the first time a large-lot, long-hold trade has been my biggest winner rather than my biggest loser.
  • #7 (VWAP Scalp, 6-lot ES) was a scratch that cost $193.60 in commissions and slippage. Down 0.58 points after a 30-minute hold that never got more than 0.42 points green. Not a bad trade, just a setup that didn’t go.
  • Capture on winners averaged 71%, in line with my norm, and no winner took more than 12.75 points of heat.

Takeaway

The structure that was missing on September 2 and September 8 was here tonight: the big-size trade was the patient winner, the fast loser was cut fast, and no single trade could have flipped the session. If #5 had been managed to even half its 11-point move, this is a +$2,500 night. The PDC family (#2, #4, #6, #8) went 3–1 for +$1,881.60 and is carrying the P&L.
